Infected Mod

Infected is a nice Mod that brings infected zombies to your Minecraft which look a little bit more evil than normal zombies. The infected zombies drop items used for crafting new tools and armor. You can craft an item allowing you to revive mobs from the dead.

Collecting Infected Genes

The infected mobs will spawn randomly. Each infected mob got a hundred health and does damage similar to normal zombies.

If you kill an infected mob, it will drop Infected Genes used to craft every new item introduced in the mod. The Infected Genes are basically mutated DNA which will enhance the danger of the new items you’ll be able to craft.

Infected Armor

When you’ve got at least 8 Infected Genes you can begin crafting the armor set.

• Infected Helmet (497) – 8 infected genes + 1 leather cap


• Infected Chestplate (498) – 8 infected genes + 1 leather tunic


• Infected Leggings (499) – 8 infected genes + 1 leather leggings


• Infected Boots (500) – 8 infected genes + 1 leather boots

The fun twist about this armor is that when you are getting attacked by mobs the damage they do will actually heal instead of hurt you.

Infected Katana

The Infected Katana is crafted with 8 Infected Genes and 1 diamond sword.

Revival Gem

The Revival Gem is crafted with 8 Infected Genes and 1 diamond.

If you kill a mob and then tap on the killed mob with the Revival Gem it will rise from the dead.
